- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon zest and juice; cook until sizzling.
- Add drained spaghetti to the skillet; toss well to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a more robust flavor, let the garlic sauté until it turns golden brown.
- Feel free to add crushed red pepper flakes for some heat.
