Description

A delicious and nutritious smoothie packed with chia seeds and fruits.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup almond milk (or any other vegan milk)
  • ½ cup dairy free yogurt
  • 1 large banana (peeled, sliced and frozen)
  • 1012 strawberries (frozen)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until you get a smooth mixture.
  2. Tip – Thaw the frozen fruits for 10 minutes if they are too hard to blend.
  3. Let the smoothie sit for a minute so that the chia seeds can absorb the moisture and expand.
  4. Blend the smoothie once again for a few seconds.
  5. Add some more milk if the smoothie looks thick for your liking.
  6. Check for the sweetness and add any sweetener of your choice if you like sweeter smoothies.
  7. Pour it into a glass and top with little more chia seeds. Serve immediately.

  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
  • Use frozen fruits for a thicker consistency.
