Description

This dish combines flavorful soy sauce, honey, and garlic with marinated chicken and fresh vegetables, served over noodles for a delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 8 ounces noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, or whole wheat noodles)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (for cooking)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup snap peas, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (additional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (additional)
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and minced garlic (about 4 cloves). Add in your chicken thighs, coating them well, and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook your noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing them with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil, then add the marinated chicken (discard the marinade). Stir-fry until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed, and toss in your chopped vegetables. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the cooked noodles and an additional 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and a pinch of black pepper. Toss everything together over the heat until well combined and heated through.
  6. Plate the Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles hot, garnished with sliced green onions or sesame seeds for an extra touch. Enjoy!
