Description
A classic deviled eggs recipe with a creamy filling and a dash of paprika for flavor.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs (hard-boiled)
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon green food coloring (optional for color)
- 1 tablespoon paprika (for sprinkling)
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes, then peel and slice in half lengthwise.
- Remove yolks from the egg halves and place in a mixing bowl. Mash with a fork.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, chives, and food coloring. Mix until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with additional chives.
Notes
- For a more vibrant color, add a few drops of food coloring to the yolk mixture.
- These deviled eggs can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
