Description
A delicious beef stir-fry recipe with bell peppers, onions, and a flavorful sauce.

- 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain, and chop all vegetables.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and sesame oil. Marinate the beef for 10–15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over high heat. Sear beef on both sides until browned. Remove from pan.
- Add garlic, ginger, and onions to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
- Add bell peppers and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Mix beef broth, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, remaining cornstarch, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Return beef to skillet. Pour sauce mixture over and cook until thickened.
- Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil and serve over rice or noodles.
