Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (15 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoothness)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until well blended.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- While the truffles are chilling, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the truffles from the refrigerator and dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet and let them set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
- Once set, serve immediately or store for later enjoyment.
Notes
- For a smoother coating, ensure the chocolate is fully melted and mixed with coconut oil.
- These truffles can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a week.
