Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso (cooled)

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks and set aside.
  3. Mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold whipped cream gently into mascarpone mixture.
  5. Quickly dip ladyfingers into espresso without oversoaking.
  6. Layer dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the layer.
  8. Repeat layers and finish with cream on top.
  9. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
