A classic meatloaf recipe that combines ground beef with eggs, onions, and spices, topped with a sweet ketchup glaze.

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup dried minced onions
- 2/3 cup wheat crackers, crushed
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce for the glaze.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, dried minced onions, crushed wheat crackers, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Press the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
- Pour half of the ketchup glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours until cooked through and golden brown.
Notes
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing to ensure it stays moist.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated for a quick meal.
