Description

A refreshing Jalapeño Watermelon Margarita perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or Tajín for rim
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Watermelon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it into salt or Tajín.
  2. In a blender, blend the watermelon cubes until smooth.
  3. Strain the watermelon juice into a shaker to remove pulp.
  4. Add sliced jalapeños, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave syrup, and ice to the shaker.
  5. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
  6. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  7. Garnish with a lime wedge and a small watermelon slice.
