Description

Delicious puff pastry filled with mixed berry preserves, drizzled with cream cheese icing.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berry preserves (or favorite jam)
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar (optional garnish)
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese icing (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry and cut into 6 rectangles.
  3. Brush the edges lightly with beaten egg.
  4. Spoon a small amount of mixed berry preserves into the center.
  5. Fold the pastry over and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly then drizzle with cream cheese icing.
