- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)
- 1/2 cup mixed berry preserves (or favorite jam)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar (optional garnish)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese icing (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the puff pastry and cut into 6 rectangles.
- Brush the edges lightly with beaten egg.
- Spoon a small amount of mixed berry preserves into the center.
- Fold the pastry over and press the edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly then drizzle with cream cheese icing.
