Description
A delicious loaded potato topped with steak and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 pound steak (such as ribeye or sirloin), cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bake the Potatoes: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the potatoes thoroughly, then pierce them with a fork several times. Rub the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until tender.
- Prepare the Steak: Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak cubes for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Assemble the Loaded Potato: Once the potatoes are baked, cut them open lengthwise and fluff the insides with a fork. Top with seared steak cubes, then drizzle generously with the creamy sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak cubes in a mixture of soy sauce and garlic for about 30 minutes before cooking.
- Feel free to add toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or crispy bacon bits for extra richness.
- If you prefer, substitute the heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter version of the sauce.
