Description

A delicious creamy ravioli dish with a rich tomato sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 large Garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 small Spanish onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups Heavy cream (at least 18% fat)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • ¼ tsp Kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp Oregano (dried)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil leaves (or parsley (garnish))

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli – Follow the instructions on the package to cook the ravioli. Typically, you’ll boil a large pot of salted water and cook the ravioli until they are tender. Drain the cooked ravioli and set them aside.
  2. Cream sauce – Melt the unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat in a medium saucepan. Sauté the garlic and onions until translucent. Then, add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Combine well.
  3. Rose sauce – Add tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Combine well. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently or until thickened to desired consistency.
  4. Combine – Next, add the cooked ravioli into the sauce and coat them evenly. You can garnish with fresh basil leaves or additional grated parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
