Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 oz taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
  • 5 packages frozen phyllo tart shells, 15 count each

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and let it warm up while you prepare the filling.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Mix in the taco seasoning and the undrained can of diced tomatoes with green chiles. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, blend shredded cheese and ranch dressing. Fold in the taco mixture until well coated.
  5. Spoon the filling into the frozen phyllo tart shells, distributing evenly.
  6. Place the filled shells on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes if thawed, or 10-13 minutes if frozen.
