Description

A refreshing cucumber salad perfect for summer.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed (fresh or dried)

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumbers under cold water and slice them thinly using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the white vinegar, sugar, kosher salt, and dill weed until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl of dressing and toss gently until well-coated.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the salad chilled, garnished with extra sprigs of dill if desired.
