Description

This creamy and cheesy Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake is a perfect comfort food dish that combines tender chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, and pasta.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 green onions (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Let cool, then shred.
  2. Boil salted water; cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat; add garlic powder. Whisk in flour until smooth, then gradually stir in milk until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Reduce heat to low; stir in cream cheese until melted, followed by cheddar until creamy.
  5. Combine pasta, shredded chicken, and buffalo sauce in the skillet; mix well.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish; bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
